ABOUT THE ARTISt

Meet Emily Engh,

Emily is an artist that has worked in many different mediums over the 20 years of her career. She is known for her oil and acrylic paintings, soft pastels, and digital art, with a painterly, colorist execution. She has been a face and body painter for more than 10 years.

Emily has 2 AAS degrees in animation and illustration, being mentored by local artists such as, Rick Graham, Susan Gallacher, and Rob Adamson.

Emily has been in different art shows in the salt lake area, including the Urban Arts Gallery and Midway Plein Air. At Salt Lake Community College she has received rewards in best in category and has sold art to the collage.

Emily has been teaching in her home and assistant teaching at the community college and Peterson Art center. Her most prized students are her 2 daughters Her eldest is going into digital media in the fall.
